The “Momitor” Log

Wednesday, Apr 26, 11:47 a.m.: A grape was thrown in the cafeteria. Had the Momitor not intervened quickly with her shiny green nabber grabber tool, that grape might have been stepped on, posing a true slipping hazard for all.

Thursday, Apr 27, 2:20 p.m.: It was reported that there were too many good snacks going stale in the counseling department. Having no further details of the scenario, the Momitor arrived on the scene, quickly analyzing the many snacks in front of her. It was clear what needed to be done. The Momitor asked Good Samaritan Sawyer Madison to aid in the “trimming down” of the snacks on hand. They were reportedly delicious. It was only minutes until the snack scene was under control.

Friday, Apr 28, 10:03 a.m.: While subbing in a sixth-grade classroom one student attempted to use a Sharpie for a drawing assignment that was supposed to be done in pencil. The Momitor happened to be the sub in that classroom at the time, and luckily intervened and redirected the student in the nick of time. The Sharpie was returned to its proper location—cap fully on.

Monday, May 1, 12:46 p.m.:  A high school student appeared to have suddenly lost control of their ability to get food into their mouth—instead food was “uncontrollably” thrown in different directions all around the cafeteria. Not to worry: the Momitor kept watch, gathered every last bit of food off the floor, and located the student at their next class (address provided by the Main Office). The Momitor kept the scene on the down low, quietly returning all pieces of food that were lost to their rightful owner in a pile on their desk. The owner appeared “relieved.”
